Founded in 1944, the International Monetary Fund is a near global organisation comprising of 188 countries. The IMF works to foster global growth and economic stability. It provides policy advice and financing to members in economic difficulties and also works with developing nations to help them achieve macroeconomic stability and reduce poverty.
The International Monetary Fund publishes analysis, research, policy advice, and data on economic and financial sector issues at the global, regional, and country level. The IMF currently operate an online bookstore and elibrary providing direct access to the IMF’s periodicals, books, working papers and studies, and data and statistical tools.
